Description
Built in 1924, Tarro's Coliseum Ballroom was the largest dance floor between Chicago and St. Louis and attracted crowds of up to 2,000. In its heyday, the ballroom hosted the biggest names in music of the era. Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Chuck Berry, Ike and Tina Turner and Fats Domino to name a few.
